CRR de Paris

Within the CRR de Paris, you can study with me in several different ways according to your project, age and situation:

• cycle spécalisé (DEM) : this is where you get acquainted with the basis on baroque oboe. You can either come from the modern oboe or from an other instrument, you need to have a baroque oboe (contact me if you're looking for one) and have some basis in playing the oboe. Age limit : 28 years old. Length of studies : one to three years Diploma : Diplôme d'Etudes Musicales (DEM). Cost : According to income. PAY ATTENTION : Entrance exam is now in MAY JUNE ! •  Cycle Préparatoire à l'Enseignement Supérieur (CPES) : If you are preparing the entrance exam for superior studies (bachelor, Master...). Age limit : 28 years old. • cycle concertiste :  For people who wish to specialize in early oboe at a high level but are not necessarily looking for an academic university diploma . Age limit : 32 years old (with possible derogation). Length : 3 to 4 years. 1500€ per year. Diploma : diplôme de concertiste (school diploma) Entrance exam : september-october

Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris

(CNSMdP, "the Paris Conservatoire")

In the CNSMdP you can either prepare a Bachelor (1er Cycle Supérieur, age limit 28years old, Length of the studies 3 years max) or a Master (2ème Cycle Supérieur, age limit 30 years old, length of the studies 2 years).

Tuition fee is ca.600€ per year. Entrance exam is generally around march-april, but you need to pre-enrol as early as october-november (!). Information can be found on this website.
